Why have your shocks serviced by Racing Shocks Australia?
Stock of Parts
Over several years, we have bought new-old stock of Ohlins/Penske shock parts that are either no longer available to purchase new or rare to find. Often cars with historic value wish to retain the original shocks on the car as it raced. If parts can't be found, then these & other brands can be remanufactured at an additional cost but made to perform better than original. We also stock service components for Motion Control Suspension Dampers & JRi Shocks
CTW Dyno
We have invested in the best brand & latest shock dyno on the market to ensure our customers are getting accurate results. Often cheaper dyno machines or older units have excessive wear or lack mechanical stiffness which can alter how the graphs appear & how the results are analyzed. Our dyno is fitted with extra long columns, high rated load cell & we make attachments to enable us to dyno test struts & shocks of different designs & configurations
Special Tooling
Not all shocks are built the same. Often specific brands require special tooling to fit piston bands, o-rings or assemblies. We can manufacture what ever tools are necessary to get the job done right the first time without damage to the critical internal parts of the shock. Often we pull apart poorly operating shocks that have been recently serviced by unqualified personnel. Dependent on the tool required, we may add a surcharge for tool manufacturing
