We don't service Koni shocks. We service limited versions of Bilstein monotube design shocks.

Our factory trained staff work directly with the manufacturers who have over 100 years of combined experience to provide a customer based or custom application for you. On going service/warranty support is available including R&D programs & Track Support if required.

CTW Shock Dyno 

Every shock goes through a thorough test sequence during servicing on the latest generation CTW Shock dynamometer. Dyno graphs are supplied as part of the service. Dyno graphs are optional for sales of new units.

Parts Replacement 

With support from various shock manufacturers, we supply genuine seals as a priority or have them made to order within Australia if no longer available. We only use high quality low viscosity shock oil matched to suit the application, protect the internal components, reduce friction & maximize the ride & handling capabilities of your vehicle.

Badly damaged or unrepairable shock? The brands Racing Shocks Australia represent can cater for more motorsport categories than any one single shock manufacturer. Supplied with the latest technology to suit Circuit or Road Racing, Drag Racing, Speedway, Rally, Time Attack & Custom/Street Machine builds.

Confidentiality is Guaranteed 

We won't share your setup or shock valving if you desire a custom setup or tuned specifically for your application. Often, we are asked to supply a base setup & this is provided from our knowledge we have earnt from over 30 years in motorsport.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

  1. Dyno test before disassembly (skipped if the unit is damaged or leaking)
  2. Dismantle, clean & measure internal components. Provide feedback on any internal damage that may not be covered by standard service costs
  3. Replace seals, shims & any damaged components
  4. Polish shafts, re-assemble unit with high quality low viscosity oil
  5. Re-test shock on dyno & recalibrate adjusters if required

RECOMMENDED SERVICE INTERVALS (Guideline only & may vary depending on shock brand)

  • Street &/or occasional track use (40,000km)
  • Competition use/sprint events (6000km)
  • Competition use/endurance events (3500kms)

 SERVICE COSTS

Not all shocks are made the same & service costs varies depending on the shock manufacturer/brand. Price advertised below should only be used as a starting guide per unit for general servicing 

  • Bike Shocks - $220.00 (specific brands only)
  • Car shocks - $330.00
  • Car Struts - $375.00
  • Dyno test shocks only (includes adjustment sweep, visual inspection & gas pressure check). No minimum quantities - minimum charge $150.00/hr

ADDITIONAL COSTS-

  • If units are coil over & supplied with springs & top hats, an additional charge of $25.00 per unit is added to the service cost
  • Major service (base valve or remote canister adjuster rebuild & recalibration of adjusters) minimum charge $150.00/hr
  • Spring rate test - no minimum quantities, minimum charge $150.00/hr or we will package it with shock testing that you supply
  • Custom valve tuning from $150.00/hr per axle excluding the cost of any replacement piston design or other parts required to achieve the desired curve
  • Blueprinting & performance tuning involves the use of custom parts developed in house including main pistons, gas separator pistons, low friction seals, oil testing & performance coatings. POA
