Our rear upper shock clevis is designed to fit VK-VS Commodores with a live rear axle & are suitable for competition use.

Benefits -

  • Clevis are made from Chrome moly steel 4140
  • Supplied with 3/8" diameter AN Bolt for mounting of the shock & M12 high tensile cap screw to the chassis
  • Legal, tested & proved in the motorsport environment, used by customers in the Improved Production Racing Championship & Tarmac Racing applications
  • Spacers are supplied to fit either shock eyelet spherical bearings fitted to JRi Shocks or Motion Control Suspension. Spacers to suit other manufacturers of shocks can be made at an additional cost
  • Price shown is for one item (2 required per car)

We do not suggest fitting the springs over the shocks unless the chassis is reinforced around the OEM shock tower.

The fitment of the clevis may affect total suspension travel available. The shock should be at about mid stroke at ride height for Tarmac & Street use. It is advisable to relocate the rear shock bracket on the differential housing if more than half of the stroke is used from full droop to ride height as is often seen on vehicles with a lower than OEM specified ride height.
