Motion Control Suspension is a boutique/custom manufacturer of motorsport vehicle damper systems.

The MCS brand is chosen by owners of prestige performance vehicles, track/club day specialist & professional race teams. The MCS damper system provides superior handling & exceptional ride control that cheaper brands can't provide.

MCS struts/shocks have been fitted regularly in Australia on vehicles used for street/track day cars, Improved Production, Production car racing & Targa Tarmac Rally vehicles covering a wide range of vehicle brands.

MCS dampers have been supplied to & used for Ferrari & Maserati dealers/workshops when OEM replacement units are no longer in production.  

Systems not in stock are built in the USA with a build/delivery time of up to 4 weeks for off the shelf production lengths & up to 8 weeks for custom/one off strut leg setups. 

We stock service & replacement parts as the Australian authorized service representative.

Motion Control Suspension Strut features -

  • Gas pressurized 100 to 280psi (system/valving dependent)

  • Gas pressure adjustable on remote canister systems to assist as a tuning tool
  • Light weight aircraft grade hard anodized black aluminum body for shock arrangements front & rear
  • Lightweight high grade steel strut bodies for McPherson strut setups front & rear
  • Steel strut body increases torsional stiffness from lateral loads at a higher level exceeding inverted cartridge two piece designs while maintaining sufficient travel, more tyre to spring clearance & a wide range of ride height adjustability
  • Shaft diameters of 16mm (shocks) or 22mm (shocks & struts) increase low speed sensitivity control
  • Ride height adjustable
  • Coil over or non-coil over available
  • High load, low wearing German mono-ball bearings are used in the mounting plates (application dependent)
  • Suspension/body attachments as pin to eye, eye to eye, pin to clevis or eye to clevis

The price excludes the cost of springs, strut mounts/brackets & bump rubbers/stops (unless the option exists to add on). However, we can configure a complete system to suit your vehicle/application.

The price indicated is a common base price for a single (x1) damper for a wide range of lengths.  The final individual price may differ by 15% to suit your specific application.
